Almost everyday we wake up to a sad passing of a brother or sister because of suicide. Life has a way of breaking us down and pushing us to a corner to such an extent that we see no other way out or solution but to end our lives. There is no way to stop what life throws at us but we can change the way we react to what life throws at us.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that each year approximately one million people die from suicide, which represents a global mortality rate of 16 people per 100,000 or one death every 40 seconds. It is predicted that by 2020 the rate of death will increase to one every 20 seconds.
