Once upon a time there was a trusted industry of newspapers.
Those were the trusted sources of information.
It is where we saw new products and jobs in the market first.
Companies who wanted to be known, had to buy space in newspapers for ads.
The reality was, the newspaper industry is a powerhouse.
Smear campaigns and crushing of emerging markets could be done through newspapers.
People believed mostly what they read and recovery for some markets was even difficult.
So this industry was indeed untouchable.

So the digital age came in, big newspaper outlets could not accept the change.
The argument was, the internet can’t be trusted and real journalism was on paper.
They said people still love their hard copies, so there was no need for the change.
Fast forward to today, how many newspaper outlets do you know?
When was the last time you read a hard copy of a newspaper?
The said part is that, some outlets had to downsize or closedown.
They were blinded by their reality, and never saw what was coming.

Now big news outlets are getting help from platforms, which emerged during the digital age, to reach people.
It looks like tables have turned. The big boys of yesterday are small boys today.
The reality today, is not the same as that of yesterday.
When Facebook, Twitter and other platforms, except for their founders, a very few people believed they could pull it off.

When Facebook, Twitter and other platforms, except for their founders, a very few people believed they could pull it off.
Now that the reality is different, it is difficult to think these big boys too, can be displaced.
Especially if they don’t adapt and believe that change is coming.
Tomorrow we could be saying a different story about them.
And the new small boys of today, will end up big boys of tomorrow.
Reality is a trap. Faith is the gateway.
Struggling or not, this is true for everyone.
If you focus on your reality, you will find reasons to give up.
However, with faith, no matter how difficult it is today, you believe tomorrow you’ll testify on how you can’t explain the miracle.
