Above water but gasping for air
Choking with no electric chair
No audience, so much to share
Closing a script for a story with no end.
Hearing voices when nobody’s there
Even open spaces feel like a cage
Only happy when everybody else is scared
For they shall forget and refrain from whatever they said
Loosing a game with still more lives to spare
Writing a full page with a no inked pen
Asking for medication when the doc sees no strain or pain
Praying for change, while seen as an accessory of shame
It’s okay, no one owes one care
Self validation is paramount when no one else dares
When you become victor is the only time you’ll get praise
While on your road to the top no one even tried to offer you with stairs.
WE ARE THE GELTONNATION
